tennants, but i think the people down stairs have a house cat, and because the cat is quiet and they are such lovely people, no one reports them. we would really like to rescue a greyhound, dog, its very old and has a hard life and we just want to give it happy home for his last few years... what could happen if they find out i have a pet??? its so unfair you cant have pets i only want to give the dog a home, i care about him he wouldnt bark or make a mess, he would need a good two or three walks a day but that isnt a problem, but the neighbours would find out we had a pet eventually but i live on a place where people are pretty safe about animals... what are the consequences of being caught with a dog in a flat your renting, basically have had dogs and greyhounds all my lifethankyou for all of your advice, we realize we will have to talk to the estate agents about it it is not worth the possibility of hurting the dog, or getting ourselves evicted. its probably likely we will have to start looking for somewhere that will allow pets. I will ask the land lady though, I have a feeling she would allow it thanks again

I'm not talking about stopping the helping animals that are used for the handicapped from coming into stores i just want to stop the PETS as in the animals kept by families form being allowed into stores, hotels and restaurants.Seriously people do you have no consideration ? What would be a good addition to our pet family?
My husband and I have been talking about getting another dog when we buy a house and have a fenced yard. We currently have 2 cats that are inside they could really care less about another dog. We have a pom chi mix male and a siberian husky female . They are both great dogs, and even though they are such opposites, they love eachother and play, and play fight all the time. And they are great with our son too.We will for sure go to a shelter I dont believe in buying dogs. But i would really like to find a golden retriever. I have wanted one since i was a little kid would they be a good addition? Any other breeds I should look at?I dont believe in buying dogs from BYBs or pet stores. Adoption is totally different. And yea you pay to adopt but it is not even close to the same thing as buying them.And for what its worth, I am a stay at home mom, so all I do all day is take care of the pets and baby and the house of course, but I have tons of time D
