My cats often drink my water that I am drinking, meaning we drink from the same cup. I often share my water and think nothing of it, but can something bad happen from sharing my water with my cat?
Is my young cats behavior unusual?
I have six cats, three neutered males, and one spayed female and two un spayed females. They are all indoor cats. My newest cat, Ava, is about 10 months old now and has been acting a bit odd. My spayed cat is about eight years old and the others are all about four years old. Ava acts like she is in heat whenever she is around my other un spayed cat Sienna . I've had cats for a long time, but I've never had a cat act like this before. When Sienna walks by Ava, Ava will role over on her back and yowl, then follow her around acting like she wants to mate. Sienna really doesn't care about Ava, and just ignores her. Sometimes I have to seperate them because Ava will really harass Sienna.I DO know they both need to be spayed, and I will do that as soon as the money is available.However, I'm just wondering if what Ava is doing is unusual and if maybe I can do something to make her leave Sienna alone.Any advice will be appreciated, thanks
My cats got black dots on her tongue?
my cat started to get black dots on her tongue about two weeks ago i was wanting to book her into the vets because i wanted to get them checked out but my dad went raving with me and said 'your 16 spend your money on something you need not on a cat that has nothing wrong' im worrying like hell cos she my baby and i had her since i was 7. can someone tell me what these black dots could be on her tongue could it be some sort of infection and do you i should not listen to my dad and just take her to the vets? please help

My boy, Hershey, eats alot of wet food and I hear its not good for his teeth. I'm considering brushing his teeth, but don't know where to find any brushes or paste made for cats. How to apply toothpaste on cats?
I have this product called Tropiclean Fresh Breath, its a kind of toothpaste that you apply to your cats teeth apparently and there is NO BRUSHING REQUIRED. I have read that its a great product, but, she hates it with a passion, every time I apply a little amount to her teeth she instantly freaks out and takes off. I can't keep freaking her out like this. I tried applying when she is sleeping, same reaction. Is there any other method of applying? Is there a similar product that has a chicken flavor her favorite ? She's not supposed to eat or drink 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after applying, so its not like I can add it to her food. I refuse to hold her down to apply it, it would ruin our friendship. She's between 8 and 10 years old. She will not eat any of the dental treats I have bought and I have spent much money on this stuff. I really want to use this Tropiclean Fresh Breath Gel, it's supposed to be a fantastic product, but damn it they made it minty Why ? Cats don't enjoy mint Why not chicken flavor? Any recommendations would be seriously appreciated. Thanks.
Do you think toothless from How to Train Your Dragon acts like a dog or a cat?
I think he acts like a dog. I've heard he was modeled from a black panther but that's just looks. He seemed to act more dog ish. he's loyal and protective like my dog. he was nuzzling Hiccup in the face like a dog does and helps Hiccup walk around kinda like a disability dog. He dived into the fire to save hiccup which proved his loyalty. he's always wanting to be around Hiccup like a dog, when cats tend to be more loners. And he growls like a dog and is playful like a puppy. Not to mention he drools. So I'm just asking to see what your opinion is and why you think it.
I want a cat, but I'm allergic?
For most of my life I'm 14 I've been allergic to cats. I got an allergy test a couple weeks ago thinking that my allergies may have gone away as I have spent the night many times at friend's homes that have cats, cuddled and played with cats, etc. and never had a reaction. When I was younger I had two cats that I never showed any reaction to either. My allergy test, however, still said that I was very allergic to cats a 4 out of 5, 5 being the most allergic and 1 being the least . I was wondering if there is a reason behind my lack of allergic reaction and if, despite the allergy tests, there would be any way to get a cat.Thanks
Is my cat a certain breed?
I have a solid white cat that has 2 grey marks above her eyes basically looking like eyebrows. Is that a certain breed of cat? Because I have seen so many cats that almost look identical to her. If you know, please help me out. Thanks.I know my cat is not a pure anything. When you see a dog that is not a pure bred, you can still usually tell what breeds of dog it is. I don't think I was clear enough so it's my bad. Is there a type of pure bred cats that are all white with grey markings above their eyes, or is it just by chance my cat got this pattern?
