They aren't rodents but close, how do i tell them apart?
I'm not sure how to tell my sugar gliders apart. they are sisters and identical and I've tried fingernail polish on their head but when i had gerbils they chewed it off. I'm worried a bow around their waist will end up hurting them somehow and i can't think of any other waysBTW sugar gliders are like a mouse in size, a marsupial like a kangaroo, and have wings like a batmost the time i call them flying squirrels to people who don't know what they areTHANKS
Guinea pigs have more character then other rodents such as hamsters?
so in my opinion i think guinea pigs just have so much more character to them i have had alot of hamsters in my life and sure they are cute and seem nice when your giving them stuff but for the most part they do their own thing and just need the necessities. whereas the guinea pigs i have had and met even if they are not the nicest they just seem like they have more of a personality more like a dog. what do you think? and describe your guinea pigs personality?
I realy want a garter snake...but my mum hates rodents so can i feed it whole raw fish?

What rodents prefer vertical cages?
My boyfriend and I have 3 female rats. Right now, they live in a fairly large cage that has 2 full levels and 2 half levels. However, we are thinking about moving them to a modified ferret cage with wheels and all of that.The question is are there any other rodents who like vertical cages?

A good pet rodent for me?
Ok here's the story... I'm a 13 year old responsible girl and I am soo bored at home. I need a pet to teach me more responsibiltiy and to entertain and play with me. My parents, however, don't really like rodents. Particularly my dad. But I feel like I can convince him once I set my heart on a particular kind of rodent. I've researched tons and tons already, but I still can't decide what kind of animal I want. Guinea pigs, gerbils, and rats need to be kept in pairs or groups, and they need a lot of space not gerbils, but rabbits too which I'm unable to give. So what am I left with? Is it just a Syrian hamster pretty much? What do you think I should get? I'd prefer having only one animal, which is the thing. Also, no ferrets or chinchillas too much money. Help with some rodent names?
My dwarf hamster recently passed away and I think I'm going to get a new one in about a week. I don't actually know if it will be a dwarf hamster, or what it will be yet because I will have to see what they have at the pet store. I don't know what gender, so multiple suggestions for both girl and boy rodents would be helpful I like more unique names, so no names like Ashley, Max, Sarah, Aiden... Or names that are too humane. I want a small pet rodent that doesn't kill me with stank?
Is there any small rodents you can get as pets that don't stink with weekly bi weekly cleaning? I don't want to " get used to the smell" . It makes me sick. I know there are exotics out there. It needs to fit in my room with all my reptiles, so it cannot be anything like a guinea pig sorry . And rats are illegal.Lexi do you mean " chameleon" ? I'm no dumby when it comes to reptiles. These guys are extremely sensitive to their environment and easily stressed. And I don't have room for a 3 foot enclosure in my room. You may want to preform more research before you consider buying one, or selling one off.Rats are illegal in Alberta. I'll be moving there in the near future. ...Alberta is in Canada. And Canada is in North America, neighbors of the USA. Eh? If your still lost I can't help you.
