Question: Are the petco dog treats at the treat bar made in china or the u.s.a.?

Who makes them doesn't bother me, its the fact that those treats sit out all day, with dander and air hitting them, and various unknown hands touching them. I've seen PetCo associates just reach in grab one and upon the owners approval give the treat to their dog. How many other dogs have they touched or how many other dogs saliva have they gotten on their hands. Not all dogs are properly vaccinated. Guess I'm being paranoid but I don't mess with those. Get them already packaged so you can read ingredients and made in info.

Ive always wondered the same I never purchase those treats that sit out all day uncovered.I purchase treats I get the ones prepackaged pet-co sells trays with some of the cookies in them and then they have bags of the same treats. I attached a link to the site they have a ton of pet-co brand treats. Evie, I would not buy anything loose in bins at any store. They can have parasites in them. And you just don't know about where they come from. I always read the package information where all my dogs food and toys come from. Especially after that terrible event many years ago when almost all the dog food was being taking off the shelves because it had plastic in it. I think it was coming from China. Some many dogs and cats were getting sick or dieing from them The FDA does not regulate the ingredients that dog food companies import to mix in with their ingredients. I don't purchase anything that says it comes from South America, China or Mexico. Nor will I buy toys or anything my dog would ingest from Big Lots, Dollar or 99 cent stores. Those things are always imported from China.
