Question: My aunt's dog ate my sun chips!!! is that bad for her?
(Posted by: on 2010-08-25 18:07:27)
I had a little bag of original sun chips... and my aunt's dog ate most of them..... she is a jack russell terrier! i'm so worried because i'm not supposed 2 have the dog in my house and i heard that wheat can be very bad for dogs! i don't know what 2 do! i heard that wheat can cause sneezing, itchy face & butt, diarrhea, vomiting, ear infections, attitude change, and lots of other things for dogs.. apparently that's not true... but she sneezed, scratched her face, and started licking her butt a minute later... the reason i can't have the dog in my house is because my uncle apparently gets jealous of me giving the dogs too much attention...(thats what my mom told me) i already passed that line with the black lab... i dont want it 2 happen again cuz i love those dogs! :- ) |

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Wheat is a common ingredient in dog food, after all. |

I wouldn't be worried. Sodium and fat isn't good, but it wont kill them. My cat enjoys the occasional chip. :) |

It okay, the dog will either poop it out or vomit if it wasn't okay, for now don't leave food around like that. |

It probably won't hurt her at all - wheat products are used in most commercially-prepared dog food. |

The best thing you can do is get yourself more chips. The dog will be fine. |
